Here are some quick and easy snacks that balance the carbohydrates, fats and protein to give you sustained fuel until your next meal.  Check back for new receipes

 Handful of almonds

They are rich in calcium and magnesium.  They also more naturally balance the fat, carbohydrate and protein counts

 Peanut Butter and Celery

Peanut Butter is a good source of protein and fats.  Most people would think of adding some Jelly to take away the dryness of the peanut butter.  However, Jelly has too much sugar. Try Celery high in fiber and very juicy.

 Cucumbers and Peanut Butter

How about trying peanut butter or almond butter with some cucumbers for those of you who have trouble eating celery.
